Appear to have been a typical late-Pueblo III kiva. Use of structure inferred to be consistent with other small kivas of this time period--probably some combination of domestic and ritual uses. Features are typical (southern recess bench surface, ventilator tunnel opening, vertical deflector slab, prepared and replastered hearth). Floor surface had more artifacts than usually found on other kiva floors at this site, including numerous, scattered abraders, and several partially reconstructible vessels (which are mostly just in front of the bench face), but no chipped stone tools. An odd deposit of ash was found on the floor in front of the bench face. The limited available data suggest that this structure was used for at least some domestic activities.

Appears from (1) absence of refuse in fill, and (2) very limited burning of roof, and (3) disarticulated human bone in roof fall, to have been abandoned in the same way as most other structures tested on this site--as a result of an attack that caused in the deaths of many of the villagers, and that ended the occupation of the village.
