Structure Use
|
Because this structure is dry-laid, contained no prepared surfaces or features, and was unroofed, the use of the structure is unknown. Members of the Native American Advisory Team interpreted structures like Structure 213 as a shrine.

Abandonment
|
Structure 213 was abandoned in the late Pueblo III period, immediately prior to regional abandonment. Natural sediments accumulated within and above this structure. Artifacts were most likely washed in from surrounding areas of higher elevation.
