Location	Segment 8 (3-x-5-m). Center of the site in Block 100. Triangular wedge in the southeast portion of the great kiva (CCAC Str 102).
Selection Criteria	Judgmental. Segment 2 was selected to test for a hearth in Structure 205.
Excavation Strategy	Other. Strata 1-5 (postoccupational deposits and roof fall) was removed with a backhoe in a full cut. The remainder of the fill was excavated in natural strata.
