Description: This lesson will explore migration of the Ancestral Pueblo people of the Southwest, rock art, life and technology in Chaco Canyon, Identity and pottery.
Corn Puebloan Identity and Movement
Grade 4th (modifiable)
Description: This unit is intended to frontload a school trip to Canyon of the Ancients National Monument, which would be the last step in this lesson. If the field trip cannot be attended in person, a class could attend virtually. It is recommended that students have a background on who the Pueblo people are before this unit.
