Randall Haas

Randy Haas is an assistant professor of anthropology at Wayne State University. He earned his Ph.D. from The University of Arizona in 2014. Prior to joining the Wayne faculty, he was an assistant professor at the University of California, Davis and a postdoctoral research associate at the Universities of Maryland and Wyoming. He studies forager adaptation and the evolution of complex behaviors including agropastoralism, cooperation, and hierarchy. He currently conducts field research in the Andes Mountains of South America and Sierra Nevada Mountains of North America.
