Hopi Cultural Resource Advisory Task Team

Ronald Wadsworth (Hopi), Hopi Cultural Resource Advisory Task Team, is a consultant for traditional Hopi farming practices and an interpreter of Pueblo cultural features and landscapes. For more than 15 years, Ronald and his brother (Donald Dawahongnewa) have collaborated with researchers, students, and volunteers who participated in the Pueblo Farming Project—a collaborative endeavor with the Hopi Tribe to grow experimental gardens on Crow Canyon’s campus and the Hopi’s ancestral land to compare how the dry land farming done at Hopi today is similar or different to the practices done in the Mesa Verde region. Ronald is a resident of Songòopavi, a Second Mesa village.
