Robert Weiner

Rob Weiner is a Ph.D. candidate in archaeology at the University of Colorado-Boulder. His research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals, and he has conducted fieldwork in New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, Utah, and Turkey. Rob’s MA thesis at Brown University examined the archaeology and Native oral traditions of gambling at Chaco Canyon. On a larger scale, he is interested in the role of religion as the driver of major transitions in human history and seeks to integrate his research with larger discussions in humanities, religious studies, and cognitive science to create a better world.
