This document represents the final report on the Maize Database project or MDP. It includes: a brief description of the project that lists the members of the Maize Database Team, a history of the project that illustrates how the MDP developed as a part of the Pueblo Farming Project, steps involved in assembling the inventory of maize, a summary of the materials contained in the final database, a description of process used to compile and publish the final database, the perspectives of the Hopi members of the Maize Database Team, ideas for future research and education projects, and a final summary of the project. As an addendum, we provide a copy of the letter we sent to museums requesting inventories of maize held in their collections.
